As a marketing intern you’ll drive key marketing activities during an important time in our growth. It’s a big job, and it’s not for everyone. But if you’re still reading at this point, and interested, here’s what we’re looking for:

You will make an impact by:

  • Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends in our sector then briefing the team on your findings
  • Researching marketing strategies and propose adjustments to current strategies to our CMO and CEO
  • Creating graphic representations of data and translate research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments
  • Preparing marketing/sales proposals and presentations based on salesforce needs
  • Researching and analyzing online usage to identify issues and/or trends
  • Creating evidence based usage reports to product and operations to inform product design 
  • Monitoring and administering the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
  • Participating in a website refresh, composing content, suggesting strategies and tactics

You could be a fit if:

  • You possess excellent knowledge of marketing B2B strategies, including tactics and tools
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills that facilitate clear internal communication and top notch public facing content
  • Your have the knack of translating complex research into common language 
  • You’re proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software
  • You have strong aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them
  • You are already familiar with corporate grocery buyer trends and buying systems, or you’ve got the chops to get up to speed quickly
  • You have an excellent ability to quickly learn and process information
  • Your organization and time management skills are on point
  • You’ve got the entrepreneurial spirit and self-starting attitude that will drive you make an impact during this internship

What’s the team like?
We are a company of four founders supported by a small team.  Most of the team is in our offices in Seneca One in Buffalo.  The others work remotely from Texas.

Your work will be directed by the CEO and CMO, but you will have access to the entire team for support and camaraderie. If you have the desire for mentorship in the marketing industry both the CEO and CEO have excellent backgrounds in the space.  Both have held high level marketing roles throughout their careers and came from PWC as digital transformation marketing execs.
